8/10	Obvious signs of use. May have small scuffs/nicks that do not affect the playing surfaces.
7/10	May have very small noticeable nicks on mouthpiece and rim. Obvious signs of use. May have small amount of missing plating on shank.
6/10	Definite nicks/dings on playing surface. May have missing plating. Still very playable.
5/10	Serviceable but not very pretty. Some shank wear. Missing finish. Scratches and dings on playing service. Still playable.
4/10	Still has most of it's finish. More pronounced scuffs and dings present. Extensive shank wear. You can probably still play with this.
3/10	Rough finish. Scratches and dings present. Major shank wear. Might actually be playable but we wouldn't recommend it.
2/10	Less finish. Heavy scratches and dings. For the most part, unusable and for nostalgic purposes only.
1/10	This is a paperweight. Practically no finish. Major scratches and dings on playing surfaces and shank. Unusable. Melt it down and sell it for scrap.
