High Profile Caps

High Profile bottom caps are replacement caps that have the same hefty look as Curry XXCaps but are lighter and designed to conveniently fit in a standard trumpet case. These brass caps give you a custom look and shouldn't change the current playing characteristics of your horn.

Caps are available in raw brass, silver plated, silver with satin finish, 24k gold plating, or gold with satin finish.

Custom Engraving

High Profile & High Profile Light Caps are engravable. Choose from a variety of designs, have your name or initials engraved, or even send us your signature!

Names and Phrases can be engraved once on all 3 top or bottom caps OR on a single cap.
Initials are engraved 4 times with the diamond embelishment on all 3 top or bottom caps.
If you'd prefer your engravings be set up a different way (i.e. no diamond embelishment, only on 2 caps, etc. just contact us and we'll try to work something out!)

Please note: Every horn is machined differently. We cannot guarantee that an engraving will line up exactly where you'd like it on your instrument. However, there are steps you can take to change the position of your engraving that should not noticeably effect the playability of the horn. One option is to simply place a small washer or rubber O ring inside the cap.

Your Signature/Special Order

Please clearly write your signature at a comfortable, normal size 5 times on a clean sheet of white, unlined paper using a fine black pen. Then scan and email us your signature.
If you do not have access to a scanner, you can mail or fax your signature to us. Please be aware that fax machines tend to deteriorate some content and is therefore the least favorable option.

We have found that Signature Engravings look better when engraved on only 1 of the 3 caps. We suggest either a pattern or a simple Double Line engraving for the other caps. However, if you'd like to have more than one cap engraved with your signature simply let us know in the Comments field during checkout. Additional Signature Engravings are $29.00 per cap.

Precision Placement Engraving

Every Horn is machined differently. We cannot guarantee that a signature will line up where you'd like it on your instrument. However, there are steps you can take to change the position of your signature that should not noticeably effect the playability of the horn.
